The only effective way to lose weight is to REDUCE calories you take in and INCREASE the amount of calories you burn.... It is possible to lose fat simply by exercising, but it takes quite a bit of time and effort- one pound of body fat is roughly equivalent to 3500 calories. First you must remember that skipping meals will only hurt you as your body will only go into fat-storing, starvation mode. Instead, eat your meals in moderation and avoid eating any foods that are fried, cut sodas and sugars out of your life. If you want to cut your appetite, eat whole-grain foods, they are loaded with filling fiber. Fiber fills you up for the longest amount of time. Eat a cup of oatmeal in the morning to prevent you from afternoon gorging.... Anyone who wants to lose weight and maintain their weight loss should take regular daily exercise, lasting 20-45 minutes depending on their health, fitness and overall commitment to lose weight. Even if you have no time for the gym you can do some fast walking. Walk during your breaks, lunch, after work or after a meal, Im sure you can find at least 20 minutes a day to do some walking.
