Some guys have never had an example in their lives of how to treat a girl nicely. They have no idea of the proper way to treat someone they care about.
Have you been to his home? How do his parents act towards each other? Take a clue from there.
If he's physically abusive, break up with him now. You don't need that, you don't deserve that, and there's someone out there who Does want to treat you well.

If they are the two sweet girls in your picture, I would suggest a craft project every now and then. Paint by numbers are cheap, easy and age appropriate, but that's just one thing. Make puppets and put on a show for each other. The possibilities are endless. Take a trip to the local library and get a book on kid's crafts, and then let the kids pick the next weekend's project. Luckily, paint, glitter and glue are still cheap.
Best of all, when it's time for them to go home, they have something to take with them that was made in fun, with love, and with you.

Does anyone here work in the food industry? If so please let me know if it's safe to complain in a restaurant and return food... Will my food be spit on?

I'm sure that there are people who are nasty and will do evil things to your plate. But they may not work in the food industry, they may work in your office. That said, I've been in the food industry for the last 7 years, both in the front and the back of the restaurant, and I guess I've been lucky enough to work with professionals. I have never seen and never done anything to anyone's food. We've had things sent back 3 times, and each time an effort was made to make it the way the customer wanted.
We may have talked about that, truly disliked them, but their plates were sent back pristine and intact.
Maybe I've been lucky.

The Philippine government and the private sector are offering 9.5 million pesos (US$220,000) to any athlete who brings home the country's first-ever Olympic gold medal. The gold has eluded the Philippines since 1924, when it first attended the Olympic games in Paris. The last medal it won was a silver in boxing in Atlanta in 1996.
