I had a gastric bypass about 4 years ago, I lost 127 lbs, but I am gaining my weight back. I still only eat small portions. Has anyone gained weight back since a bypass or have suggestions on what I need to do.

It is possible the stomach pouch that was created during the bypass has stretched out and needs to be repaired. Usually when this happens a simple nonsurgical technique called stomaphyx can fix the problem in less than half an hour. During this procedure the doctor inserts a device through the patient's mouth and guides it down to the stomach pouch. Using an endoscope, the doctor staples the sides of the stomach, making it smaller again. I suggest you check back with your Doctor to see if this procedure is appropriate for you.
