A 3 point play is possible in basketball and even a 4 point play. Is a 5 point play possible?

You could foul a three point shooter and he makes the shot (giving him one freethrow) then cuss at the ref to get a technical which would add a second or third freethrow depending on the severity. But the other team can choose which player gets to shoot the technical shot(s)

I guess there is because if you foul somebody at the three point line while they are shooting and the make it they get the three points and a shot at the freethrow line. And when the player goes to the freethrow line and intentionally misses and his/her team gets the ball back and make a two pointer then yes that would be a 5 point play. Otherwise no :)
